Think Energy SDG Awards

The Think Energy SDG Awards is an initiative designed to recognize exceptional contributions in the energy sector that advance the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a key highlight of the Africa Energy & Sustainability Summit, the awards emphasize the critical role of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in promoting sustainable energy solutions across Africa.

As the first SDG awards of its kind globally, the Think Energy SDG Awards have recognized the efforts of industry leaders and organizations making significant strides in sustainability. Previous honorees include global giants such as the Ghana National Gas Company, TotalEnergies Marketing Ghana, Ecobank Ghana Limited, University of Ghana (Legon), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Accra Technical University, Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCO), and the renowned business leader Alhaji Dangote, Chairman of the Dangote Group of Companies.
